Another blow for AshleyMadison: User emails leaked on Dark Web
Nearly a month after a reported hack at the extramarital affairs website AshleyMadison, user information has reportedly been posted in a large torrent file on the Dark WebAccording to Ars Technica, the 10-gigabyte file contains “e-mails, member profiles, and credit-card transactions” along with other sensitive information.

A group calling itself “The Impact Team” claimed credit for last month’s hack on AshleyMadison and its companion site Established Men, as well as accessing the databases of Avid Life Media (ALM), the company that owns the two aforementioned sites. The hackers said they had gained access to everything from user profiles and financial records to ALM salary information. “The Impact Team” also claimed responsibility for today’s information leak.
