Australia, bow down to message from David Bowie in the lightning
Lightning struck the focal point of Sydney, Australia during a wild storm on Friday afternoon — and it seems there was a starman waiting in the sky.
One lucky storm watcher, Mike Morrow, caught the money shot of the Sydney Tower being struck by lightning and posted the image to his Instagram account. It wasn’t long until bored Sydneysiders decided it was a message from God. Not any God, but The One and Only Music God, David Bowie who died on Jan. 10.
The lightning strike that bolted the heart of the city bore a striking resemblance to the late artist’s make up on the cover for his sixth album Aladdin Sane. Bowie, after all, was a believer in leaving signs. Twitter did not miss a beat. Read more…
