In the wake of the devastating terror attacks in Paris, France, an Australian Muslim is moving to bring more diverse voices to parliament

With the hope of winning a Senate seat in the next Australian federal election, Sydney man Diaa Mohamed has created the Australian Muslim Party. His plan is to sign up 500 members — which are required to register for the ballot — and give Australian Muslims a democratic voice
