On the same day that she dropped her commanding rap track “Formation” and a middle finger-filled video to match, Beyoncé did something else that made the music world stop in its tracks: She gave an interview.

The notoriously private singer, who hasn’t given a televised interview in years and has not tweeted since August 2013, talked to CBS about the Super Bowl Halftime Show ahead of Sunday’s Coldplay-headlined show, where she’ll perform along with Bruno Mars.
