ANAHEIM, California — Forget about your worries and your strife: A bear with a familiar voice and an even more familiar tune is coming to teach us how to live the good life.

Disney’s presentation of its live-action The Jungle Book, which Jon Favreau is directing for an April 2016 release, brought the crowd at the D23 Expo to its feet on Saturday. It was an unexpectedly warm ovation for a film that no one knew much about coming into the semi-annual fan event.
