The U.S. Coast Guard spent hours scouring the water in the Yucatan Channel as they searched for a missing woman who had jumped from an EDM cruise ship bound for Cozumel, Mexico late Thursday, according to authorities.

The unidentified woman jumped from the deck of the Norwegian Pearl during the Mad Decent Boat Party roughly 22 nautical miles from the coast of Cuba just after 7 p.m. EST

The ship’s three rescue boats were deployed, while search and rescue teams from the Coast Guard’s 7th District in Miami were searching for the woman in the water and by air, with Cuban authorities reportedly also helping in the search.
