Australia’s tween dream and social media sensation, Cody Simpson, is using his fame for a good cause.

The 18-year-old placed his Twitter account in the hands of a Syrian refugee, Thair Orfahi. Speaking to Simpson’s 7.2 million followers, Orfahi told the story of his journey from Damascus to Berlin through Egypt in July

The continuous flow of moving tweets was tagged with the hastag #ShareHumanity, which is an initiative by the United Nations that allows influential people to donate their Twitter feeds to others involved in humanitarian crises across the globe. Read more…
