Those who tuned in for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night were treated to an unusual sight. Tuesday’s musical guest wasn’t a hot band playing its latest radio hit. Instead, it was a full-blown symphony orchestra blasting out a toe-tapping medley of video game music.

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses orchestra has assembled bits and pieces of music from across the Zelda series into a four-movement composition. For its late night appearance, the orchestra performed a selection from the larger program while footage from the upcoming 3DS game The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes played on screens set up behind the musicians.
