The second season of Netflix’s hair-raising hit Daredevil can, at times, feel like a congested subway car.

The screen gets crowded with the introductions of vet-turned-rebel The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and mysteriously risqué Elektra (Elodie Yung), as well as not one, but two foreign armies seemingly hellbent on turning midtown Manhattan into the epicenter of World War III

And while that may sound like a bad thing, it’s not. The various personalities at play turn Hell’s Kitchen into a giant melting pot of white-knuckle action, exhilarating thrills and dimly lit streets. (Yeah, no one can seem to find the light switch in Season 2, either.) Read more…
