After three decades on late night television, David Letterman is tackling a brand new job: globe-trotting climate change correspondent.

The comedian and former Late Show host has joined the cast of Years of Living Dangerously, the Emmy-winning series covering the serious impacts of climate change all over the world

The series’ first season previously aired on Showtime, but it will now gain a much larger audience at National Geographic.

Letterman will serve as one of many celebrity correspondents on the show, which includes Jack Black, Ty Burrell, James Cameron, Thomas Friedman, Joshua Jackson, Aasif Mandvi, Olivia Munn, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ian Somerhalder and Cecily Strong. Read more…
