ORLANDO, Florida — Star Wars fans will have to wait a while longer for the full-fledged themed lands that are coming to Disney parks in Florida and California. But the parks are already unveiling a few new movie-themed attractions ahead of The Force Awakens, which hits movie theaters Dec. 18.

As of this week, visitors at Disney World can meet Chewbacca, eat a Darth Vader chocolate peanut butter cupcake and find out if they have what it takes to be a Jedi. The opening includes new and enhanced attractions designed to transport Star Wars fans to — where else — a galaxy far, far away.
