Dr. Dre has finally issued an unambiguous apology for his abusive past.

The artist, who is also a producer for the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, has issued an apology via a statement to the The New York Times, generally addressing the numerous women he has assaulted

“I apologize to the women I’ve hurt,” the statement reads. “I deeply regret what I did and know that it has forever impacted all of our lives.”
