DraftKings welcomes fantasy esports as a new way for spectators to win cash
Do you like esports? Do you like winning money? Well, good news: Those two great tastes taste great together.
DraftKings, one of the more popular destinations for daily fantasy sports competitions, is set to expand its ranks with a new branch of fantasy play for pro gaming enthusiasts. It begins on Oct. 1, the same day the League of Legends 2015 World Championships kick off.
That’s no coincidence, either. DraftKings’ esports launch will focus on the October League competition.
