Eagles of Death Metal speak for the first time since the Paris attacks
Still reeling from the Paris attacks, Eagles of Death Metal have spoken out in their first interview since the tragedy. The American band were playing onstage at the Bataclan theatre as gunmen began to open fire on Friday, Nov. 13
Although the band survived, a member of their crew, merchandise manager Nick Alexander, was killed, along with many others who had been in the venue simply for a night of fun and rock and roll. They have since released a statement paying tribute to the victims and putting all future shows on hold.
In a Vice teaser of the interview, the lead singer Jesse Hughes, and band member Joshua Homme, who was not in Paris during the incident, appeared deeply shaken. Read more…
