One of the best iPad drawing apps has arrived on the iPhone — just in time for the new iPhone 6S.

FiftyThree released the iPhone version of Paper, the award-winning sketching app, on Thursday. The new universal app features a new design that now supports notes and photos, which you can mark up with the app’s sketching tools.

While the app’s popular drawing tools remain untouched, the updated app feels much more like a productivity app than a sketchbook.

Rather than the journal metaphor of the previous app, which organized users’ sketches into virtual notebooks, the new app arranges your doodles and notes into spaces that look like sticky note-filled walls. Paper now supports both text and photos, along with sketches and doodles, so each note can include a combination of images, notes and drawings. Read more…
