Foo Fighters‘ acoustic version of “My Hero” — the band’s ’90s anthem about everyday heroes — made at least one grown man cry Sunday at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Frontman Dave Grohl, who is recovering from breaking his leg at a concert in June, noticed the teary-eyed man at the 2:38 mark in the video (above) and decided to bring him onto to the stage for the remainder of the performance

“I love you man, thank you,” Grohl told the man named Anthony. “Holy shit. Fuck that speech I was just about to make. I’m going to sing to you right now. … I want some real tears. You better sing it with me. Don’t make me cry because I promised I wouldn’t do this. … I’m going to sing this to your crying grown man ass right now. … You drunk, emotional mess.” Read more…
