Harrison Ford, otherwise known as Han Solo, otherwise known as climate crusader, has landed in Sydney and he has more than a Star Wars message to share.

The 73-year-old actor spoke to ABC’s 7:30 Report on Wednesday night about the disastrous effect humans disregarding their environment will have on future generations

“Nature will take care of itself — nature doesn’t need people, people need nature to survive,” Ford said

“If people knew the benefits of nature besides cute animals and a place for them to vacation. If they knew nature provided clean air, fresh water, pollinators for our crops, new medicines, new food crops and that we can’t afford to produce these things for ourselves … they would understand the full value of nature.” Read more…
