High school football field overrun with dozens of pooping geese
A Pennsylvania high school football team was forced to move their game to a practice field over the weekend because their regular field is covered in goose poop.
According to WJAC, the Blacklick Valley High School varsity and youth teams were forced to move their games due to the dozens of geese who keep pooping on their field.
Superintendent John Mastillo told WJAC that a flock of 65 have taken over the field, hanging out on it during the day and leaving droppings all over the place.
“In talking with the state game commission they’ve told me there are people feeding them and things of that nature … I don’t think the public understands the complications that comes with feeding the birds because they did tend to hang around longer than you want them too,” Mastillo said.
