Time is ticking away at break-neck speed in “Our Man in Damascus,” the penultimate episode of Homeland’s fifth season, as Saul, Carrie, and the CIA try to stave off a potentially horrific sarin gas attack in Berlin.

Quinn is alive, but in a medically-induced coma — and his outlook after being used as a sarin gas test dummy isn’t good. He still may not survive, and even if he does, the risk of extensive, permanent brain damage is high. The shot of atropine that Qasim gave him indeed saved his life, but that life now hangs in the balance.
