Hulk Hogan just won Round One in his battle royale with Gawker Media. But a rematch is already looming.

The muscle man’s invasion of privacy lawsuit against Gawker came to a close Friday, with a Florida jury finding Gawker guilty and awarding the wrestler a shocking $115 million — $55 million for economic injuries and $60 million for emotional distress. He had initially asked for $100 million

The jury will return on Monday to consider awarding Hogan punitive damages on top of the $115 million

The wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, had sued Gawker for the 2012 publication of excerpts from a sex tape featuring Hogan and a friend’s wife. Read more…
