John Travolta admits he has every reason to believe American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson could be a career “game changer in a lot of ways,” but his bottom line remains unchanged: “All an actor wants is the best opportunities to play the best roles,” he tells Mashable. “That’s really what they’re looking for, nothing else.”

And, no doubt, the role of slick, expensive and occasionally impenetrable Beverly Hills lawyer Robert Shapiro in the FX anthology is a good one — and getting better with each passing week.
