To this day, most people assume that Simpson used his own 1993 Ford Bronco to elude police on the day he was supposed to be charged with the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, waiter Ronald Goldman. In fact, though, the vehicle actually belonged to O.J. Simpson’s childhood friend and longtime football teammate, Al “A.C.” Cowlings.
