Melania Trump bought her own dress for Republican National Convention
In her speech on the first night of the Republican National Convention, Melania Trump chose to forego a personal designer and bought her own dress to wear from Net-a-porter.
According to WWD, Melania went with Serbian-born, London-based designer Roksanda and their “Margot” dress. It’s a simple, off-white, cotton and silk-blend dress with distinct sleeves that fluffed around her forearms.
The price of the dress? $2,190.
“Trump simply liked the dress and bought it herself from Net-a-porter, according to a spokeswoman, who added that ‘she isn’t working with any designers,'” WWD reported. Read more…
