Following up on a promise from his Tuesday night “State of the State” address, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder released a slew of emails from 2014 and 2015 relating to the ongoing water crisis in Flint on Wednesday afternoon.

In a letter that introduces the 270 pages-plus document, Snyder says he is releasing the emails “in the interest of transparency and accountability.” Many of the early emails have to do with public works projects in Flint, including the temporary switch to the Flint River as a water source
