Motorola’s decision to not sell the big battery-equipped Moto X Play in the U.S. left us scratching our heads.

If leaked promotional documents obtained by Droid-Life are to be believed (the Android-focused blog has a history of accurately reporting on unreleased devices), Verizon will be exclusive carrier of the Droid Maxx 2, a rebadged Moto X Play, with a battery that lasts up to two days. The second largest wireless carrier in the U.S. will also launch the Droid Turbo 2, a phone that will reportedly come with a “shatterproof” display.
