Nintendo is so confident in the design of its upcoming hardware, codenamed “NX”, that it is already letting developers get their hands on early versions, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.

The Friday morning WSJ story cites multiple anonymous sources who say the NX kit is being distributed to third-party software developers, which need early access to begin working on games before the NX’s consumer release.
