Gamers rejoice. PlayStation has announced Australian pricing and availability for its virtual reality headset.

PlayStation VR will set Aussies back A$549.95, the company said Wednesday. The product will launch in October 2016 in Australia, as well as Japan, North America, Europe, Asia and New Zealand. If you’re super keen, the device is now available for pre-order from select retailers.

In the U.S., the headset will retail for $399, which means Aussies aren’t paying too much more, per Wednesday’s currency rates.

However, the headset is not all you need to get started. As Mashable has pointed out, you’ll also need a a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Camera to run the experience. A 500GB PlayStation 4 currently goes for about A$479.95 and a PlayStation 4 Camera costs A$89.95, a PlayStation spokesperson confirmed to Mashable Australia. Read more…
