The Lincoln Park Zoo’s new red panda cubs, Clark and Addison, have gone in for their second checkup.

The two cubs, who were born on June 26, are the first red pandas — a vulnerable species — born at the Chicago zoo. Since their first checkup on July 10, Clark has doubled and Addison has nearly tripled in weight.

Since their birth, the cubs have also celebrated a number of other adorable milestones — including opening their eyes. In addition, the cubs’ yellow fur has begun to transform into the deep auburn characteristic of the adult red panda. Read more…
