Carlos Santana is a known guitar genius, but on the subject of Bey? He clearly has no idea what he’s talking about.

The 69-year-old music legend responsible for the over-meme’d travesty that is “Smooth” had the nerve to criticise Beyoncé in an interview following the Grammys — weighing into the whole “who deserved the Album of the Year award the most” debate. And what he said shook the BeyHive to it’s very core.

“I think that Adele won because she can sing, sing,” Santana told AAP via the New Zealand Herald. “With all respect to our sister Beyoncé, Beyoncé is very beautiful to look at and it’s more like modelling kind of music — music to model a dress — she’s not a singer, singer, with all respect to her,” he said.
