SAN FRANCISCO — The CEO of Sony Entertainment says the government needs to do more to help companies prevent cyberattacks like the devastating breach to which Sony was subject last year.

During a panel at Vanity Fair‘s New Establishment Summit Tuesday, Sony CEO Michael Lynton spoke at length about the hack and the government’s response to it

Speaking with John Carlin, assistant attorney general for national security at the U.S. Department of Justice, Lynton described the immediate aftermath of the attack as “a very, very chaotic and tumultuous period.” Read more…
