Fox, Peppy, Falco and Slippy will ride again — but not this holiday season.

Nintendo announced that the Wii U title Star Fox Zero will be delayed from its holiday 2015 release window until early next year. The company posted the news on the Wii U Facebook page early Friday morning, with a message from the game’s producer, Shigeru Miyamoto.

“While we have already reached the stage where it would be technically possible to release the title in time for the year-end holiday season, we want to polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play that we are proposing,” Miyamoto’s message said.
