Star Wars, Star Trek and other geek memorabilia up for auction (pictures)
1696: This full-scale fibreglass Velociraptor statue, created from Stan Winston
Studio moulds used to create the dinosaurs for 1993’s “Jurassic Park.” It’s hand-painted and measures 3.86 metres (152 inches) from nose to tail. It’s expected to bring in $10,000-$12,000.
The acrylic T-rex eye, used in the film’s production, is
expected to go for $1,000-$1,500. Other Jurassic Park loot includes claws,
teeth, park vehicle license plates and John Parker’s amber-topped cane.
