Street artist paints the Queen partially nude to honour her reign
LONDON – Chances are you’ll see quite a few tributes to Queen Elizabeth II in the run-up to her becoming the longest reigning monarch on Sept. 9 — but you probably won’t see many like this.
To honour the Queen’s 63 years on the throne, London-based street artist Pegasus has painted a partially nude drawing of Her Majesty on the side of the Winchester Bar in Angel, North London.
“I painted her last Wed, way ahead of the big day,” Pegasus told Mashable. “The designing process took a little over two weeks, two days to draw, a day to cut and three hours to paint.” Read more…
