Sydney Opera House lights up green and gold for Rugby World Cup
As Australia and New Zealand go head-to-head in the Rugby World Cup in London, Australia is lighting up in support
The old-age rivals, the All Blacks and the Wallabies, will take to the field on Saturday afternoon London time to smash it out for global glory. Dedicated Aussies and Kiwis will stay up until the dead of Sunday morning, 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. respectively, to watch their countries battle for Prince Harry to hand them the William Webb Ellis Cup.
To honour the event the iconic Sydney Opera House has flashed some brilliant green and gold in support of the Wallabies. The sails were illuminated at 8 p.m. on Friday night and will stay lit through Saturday night and until the game on Sunday morning. Read more…
