Just eight games into his NBA career, it’s clear number-one draft pick Karl-Anthony Towns will be a superstar.

But not that long ago — Towns is a rookie who played only one season at Kentucky — he was a wide-eyed student reporter interviewing a “basketball idol” in Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant

Shown during a NBA on TNT broadcast and subsequently posted to Reddit, the fairly amazing footage shows a baby-faced high school freshman holding his mic up to a bonafide NBA superstar .
