Another Magic Leap demo popped up recently — the company’s CMO showed off an augmented-reality shopping app to Alibaba’s CMO at an event in China. We still don’t know what the hardware looks like, but we continue to be curious about Magic Leap as it develops its AR experience.

We’re also briefing you on MIT CSAIL’s newest project: glasses-free 3D for movie theaters. Instead of using images that require special glasses, this would specifically target each individual seat in a theater and give the ticket holder their very own unique 3D view.
