This guy wants UK film censors to watch 14 hours of paint drying
LONDON — You know the old expression about watching paint dry?
Well some day soon, one unlucky person from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) may have to watch a film — quite possibly a very long film — that literally shows just that.
As a protest against the organisation censoring and in some cases banning films, British filmmaker and journalist Charlie Lyne has launched a Kickstarter to try and force the BBFC to watch a 14-hour film he’s made of white paint slowly drying on a brick wall.
