Thousands of greyhound dogs killed annually in Australia
In a disturbing statistic, up to 17,000 dogs are believed to have been killed every year in Australia’s greyhound racing industry, simply because they were deemed not fit to race.
The figure was revealed in a “strictly confidential document” released at an inquiry into the state of New South Wales’ greyhound racing industry on Monday
