TMZ: ‘7th Heaven’ Dad Stephen Collins Confesses to Child Molestation
Stephen Collins, best known for his role as pastor Eric Camden on 7th Heaven, allegedly confessed to molesting at least three girls, according to an audio tape obtained by TMZ.
In the tape recorded in 2012 by his ex-wife, actress Faye Grant, Collins details molesting or exposing himself to the victims several years prior.
Collins and Grant were in the middle of a marriage counseling session, which was secretly taped by Grant in order to gather evidence on Collins, according to TMZ. The recording censors the names of Collins’ victims.
Prior to the session, Collins had written a “disclosure” to Grant about the molestation, which is referred to in their conversation.
Collins, who seems to have trouble remembering some of his victims’ names and ages in the recording, confesses to several encounters with the girls over a number of years.
Collins was fired by film makers of the movie Ted 2 after they learned of the allegations.
