Uber has inaugurated its first Centre of Excellence in Asia in the southern Indian city of Hyderabad. The centre will primarily focus on providing round-the-clock customer service, especially support for critical incidents.

Situated in the capital of the country’s newly-created state of Telangana, it will house 500 customer service specialists for riders as well as driver-partners.
