In the 6 years since Android named version 1.5 of its operating system “Cupcake,” Google has kept with the sugary sweet naming theme. On Monday, Android announced the latest name for upcoming version 6.0: Marshmallow.

We take operating system names very seriously here at Mashable. To this end, we taste-tested each one in a super scientific experiment to determine which version is best.
