NEW YORK CITY — There’s a giant Amazon box at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Even though it’s big enough, you won’t find some giant gift inside, like this “life like, lifesize” inflatable replica elephant or this ride-on cherry red Mercedes-Benz electric toy car.

Instead, it’s a movie theater where travelers can stop by and see some of Amazon’s original series available through Prime, with a particular focus on the kids’ show Tumble Leaf.

“We think it will also encourage people to log-on and check out Amazon Prime while in-flight,” said Michael Paull, vice president of digital video at Amazon. “Most importantly, we really think travelers will enjoy it.” Read more…
