You might have thought the end was nigh for zombie flicks after the terrible Brad Pitt vehicle World War Z in 2013, or that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies would end their reign of terror in the bookstore. You may have hoped the undead would become uncool after the Centers for Disease Control — fingered as the harbinger of doom in many of these fictions — released its own tongue-in-cheek guide to the zombie apocalypse.
