If your music tastes tend toward the embarrassing, it might be time to clean up your Spotify account.

Starting Tuesday, Tinder users will be able to see their potential matches’ most-played songs on Spotify. The songs will be displayed on the profiles of Tinder users who opt to link their Spotify accounts, right by those shared interests you forgot you liked on Facebook seven years ago.

Along with displaying your Spotify activity, Tinder will also offer the option to post your favorite song under a new “Anthems” section. The songs will play within the Tinder app when tapped.

You don’t need to link your Tinder account to Spotify to post an Anthem, but tapping anything Spotify-related will redirect you to download the Spotify app if you’re not a Spotify user. Read more…
